ABOUT US
9/11 POLICE AID FOUNDATION
The world knows of the bravery and dedication the men and women of the New York City Police Department and sister Law
Enforcement Agencies throughout the USA have displayed during and after the tragic events of 9/11. At a time when our city
needed them the most, these professionals gave their all to keep us safe, maintain order, search for survivors, and keep our city
functioning in the the face of an almost unimaginable horror.
Now, many of them are bravely facing yet another crisis. A majority of responders who were exposed to the harmful toxic environment that was caused from the collapse of the towers as a result of a terrorist crimminal act are now experiencing a wide range of illnesses, from Upper & Lower Airway disease, RADS, a lowered immune system that has crashed, sarcoidosis (a permanent lung condition) also with gastroesophageal disease, Vestibular dysfunction (brain damage), PTSD, ADD, depression, fatigue, panic attacks, migraines, vertigo, myofascial pain syndrome, fibromyalgia, chronic myalgia, chronic sinus dysfunction and other cancerous diseases.
Although, we are suffering with serious First Responder health conditions our goal is to provide support, education, and other forms of charitable relief to Law Enforcement Officers who sustained injury or disability relative to the attacks of September 11, 2001.
Thank You
